Debbie inspired me today with her answers to my questions about getting everything done! I really need it yesterday to remind myself there are seasons for everything in our lives!
Debbie’s questions for me are something I have thought about many times:
So, Danielle, where do you see yourself in one year – in your blogging and home business? Where would you like to see yourself in 5 years? What is your ultimate “reality” for life?
I see my home business as strong and passive. What I mean by that is that I will have income coming in regardless of whether I work that day or not! I will be accomplishing this through affiliate marketing. I am very excited about this and I am right now in the process of creating my very first affiliate site. I will make this one profitable and move onto the next one. I want to continue creating these site not just for income but to be of a service to the people visiting the site. For instance If someone really needs to learn how to do square foot gardening I want to cover all the aspects they want and need to know so that they can be successful! As I do this I will also recommend products that they can buy. The key is to find what people need and want and provide it!
My blogging in a year…
I really want Danielle’s Journey to turn into a site sharing what I have learned along the way. I want to help other become profitable and successful. To me Danielle’s Journey will always be my home base. I will share personal experiences as well as business experiences. I have always been someone that is very honest with my opinions and I feel like Danielle’s Journey is the way to do it!
In Five years…
I would like to continue everything I am doing with affiliate sites and Danielle’s Journey. One thing that will be different is a “pet” project that will take up more of my time. I have always loved family history/genealogy. By 2014 (wow that seems far away) I will have a large Family history site and podcast helping others with there research or just the basics. This is something that will not necessarily provide a lot of income and that is the purpose for all my affiliate sites!!
My life will be very simple.
Our family will be debt-free and saving for college and retirement. My children will be involved in piano lessons and other lessons developing their individual talents. We will be saving for a home to build. I have never been big on a huge house. I want something manageable not a mansion to get lost in! In all of this we will be able to give more, as well as help out family! But in the end be in control of how much I earn and when I earn it! That is truly the beauty of the business, isn’t it?!
Okay Debbie I want to know the same things from you? Where will your business/blogging be in one year and five years? What do you want your life to look like in the future?
