These pictures are the pictures I posted for Wordless Wednesday yesterday. Now I will tell you the story behind them. About two weeks ago we were down in California in the San Bernardino mountains for a family reunion. We stayed in this great cabin that had seven bedrooms. It was perfect!
These pictures were taken at the cabin this is where my 8 month old learned to do the commando crawl! I was sitting on one side of the coffee table and he was on the floor on the other side. I called his name and he would peak his head up and then put it down. Then I would call him again and he would do it all again. It was a fun little game I got on film!

Look how cute & happy he is! What a great picture. The San Bernadino Mountain area is so pretty – I lived in San Bernadino when I was about 3 and 4 and remember (vaguely) visiting the mountains and the beach – that’s what I can remember about living there. =)

Photos like that really do make me miss the times when my kids were much younger (my son is 12-years-old and my daughter is 8-years-old now). I still enjoy my kids, of course, but there’s just something about the thrill of discovery and unpredictable behavior that comes from younger ones, huh?
