Here is my Wordless Wednesday picture:
With fall in full swing and winter on the way I thought I would share this beach picture! It was actually taken in the summer of 2006. We were in California for a family reunion. Part of the reunion we went to Huntington Beach. This picture makes me laugh every time I see it because while everyone else was playing in the water my 3 1/2 year old was busy in the sand! She even tried to eat the sand! Later everyone decided to build a big whole in the sand but my little girl didn’t participate. She continued to do her own thing in the sand. It was a fun trip and a memory that my children will always have!

That is a cute photo. I tend to do my own thing like that as well. I know it drives people crazy but it makes me happy and that is all that matters right?

Aww what a cute picture! It looks like she is totally focused on the task at hand
My son is (well was –he’s 11 now and not really into the whole beach thing) the complete opposite –he was a ‘fish’and could care less about digging in the sand.

I love the beach! I’m not much on swimming in the water but I absolutely love the sound it makes! She was doing something very important even if we don’t know what she had her mind on making she was very serious about it!
My 3 year old would also be totally focused on the sand. Although she does like swimming.
The cool weather has definitely set in here. Thanks for a sunny picture to warm me up!
