A day at the beachOnce again it is time for my personal accountability for the week! This week was different.  I haven’t had one of these weeks in a while.  I just was not motivated to do a darn thing!  So I didn’t!  Okay I did accomplish some things but for the most part I gave in to my lack of motivation.

Here are some of my issues for the week:

I have been doing my affirmations each day and a few of my affirmations have really got me thinking.  One of them is “I deserve to be free of guilt.”  Doesn’t everyone deserve to be free of guilt?  Well on Thursday of this week I really didn’t want to do anything. I had my exercise clothes on but I didn’t exercise.  I got both of my younger kids in bed for there naps and instead of working like I normally do during nap time, I curled up with a blanket and a book in my big leather recliner.  It was great.  Now all day I fought my inner voice that said “You are falling behind.  You need to be working.” or “You shouldn’t be doing this!”.  But guess what I did it anyway!

Next issue:

Thursday started a day of reflection for me…Friday.  I started thinking about why I am not just happy being me.  Why am I not happy being a stay-at-home mom and doing sahm stuff!  I went through all the many issues I have in my life.  You know the ones…we all have them!  This is stuff that makes us who we are and why we react to things, the way we do! I haven’t come to any certain conclusions but I did start reading a book called Happy for No Reason by Marci Shimoff.  I really feel that this book may help me through this. I don’t want to feel guilty about taking a day off to just read a book.

Okay on to my personal accountability:

  • I will complete ten squidoo lenses for a Christmas niche.- Nope…I have a few started but none completed.
  • I will write an article each day and submit it to ezine articles to bring in traffic.- I did do two.
  • I will write at least two press releases.- Nope.
  • I will add four messages to my auto responders. – Nope not at all.
  • I will post five times on this blog.- This I did do!
  • Affirmations and Gratitude Journal- I didn’t this most of the week I missed a few mornings of affirmations and two days of my gratitude journal.

So as you can see I didn’t stay on track.  I have no real excuse and for the first time in a long time I DON’T feel guilty about it! That I am proud of!  I am committed to getting back on track this week.  I feel really good about things.  I am grateful I had the time to kind of take a break this last week.  This week even though we have Thanksgiving, I will be working.  My husband works at night and works Wednesday night and Thursday night.  So it won’t feel like much of a holiday because of that.  On Friday I may take the day off to go shopping.  I do love black Friday! It will really depend on the deals!

Here are my goals:

  • Complete 10 Squidoo lenses.
  • Write five articles for article marketing.
  • Update my autoresponder.
  • Create a new website for my Squidoo lenses.
  • Blog 3-5 times this week.
  • Continue doing affirmations twice a day and my gratitude journal!

To close my personal accountability for this week I want to say how grateful I am that I get to report to you every week! I enjoy showing what I have accomplished and what I have learned for the week.  We all have ups and downs and I really believe that how you respond to them determines what you gain!  I hope all of you have a fabulous Thanksgiving this week!  Keep up your hard work!

Until Next Week,

PS. Enjoy a good book during Thanksgiving!

Estudious Brides 2Okay I totally missed last weeks Personal Accountability!  I don’t know what happened but I lost track of time! It definitely wasn’t because I wasn’t working.  I have been working extra hard the past two weeks.

Here is what I committed to two weeks ago:

  • I am going to create five affiliate websites. – I create two
  • I will be posting on Danielle’s Journey 4-5 times  this week.- Done.
  • I will submit 4 more articles to Ezine articles. -I have a total of thirteen articles in Ezinearticles.com
  • I will create one Squidoo lens. – I have seven Squidoo Lenses done.

Okay so here is what I have been doing for two weeks.  I am working on Squidoo lenses I am also writing articles.  I currently have seven articles waiting for review or in the review process. I have six articles approved.  These articles are for two of my niches.  I am getting articles approved quickly now because I have so many articles.  I am having an increase in traffic to my Squidoo lenses and my websites.  Yesterday afternoon I had an article approved and it has already, in just 24 hours been published by someone and had half the traffic of the most seen article I have.  I am really excited about this!

One other thing I have done is I have started practicing the law of attraction.  I am writing in a gratitude journal everyday. This definitely helps in my attitude.  I try to do this in the morning to give me a good start to the day.  I have also started doing repeating affirmations each day.  Doing this twice day has helped me become focused on what is really important.

I have not been the best at keeping up with blog post on any of my blogs this last week!  But I have achieved in completing what I set out to do and that was set up Squidoo lenses for one niche.  Also getting article marketing done.

What will I do this week? My goals are pretty specific because I need to get traffic to my sites.

  • I will complete ten squidoo lenses for a Christmas niche.
  • I will write an article each day and submit it to ezine articles to bring in traffic.
  • I will write at least two press releases.
  • I will add four messages to my auto responders.
  • I will post five times on this blog.

I am going to add a few personal goals too. I will continue to repeat affirmations at least twice a day and write in my gratitude journal each day.  I hope that you are having success in your goals each week.  This is really working well for me!  I appreciate all of you that follow along and hope that you will also share your goals with me! Have a fabulous week!

I'm sick - February 2, 08It is time for my Personal Accountability for the week! As your recall from last week, I was going to be on vacation all of this week.  Well that all changed when my daughter woke up on Sunday morning with a killer headache.  Our family was planning on leaving on Sunday after church.  Well by the time it came to leave I was convinced she had the swine flu.  I took her to the doctor on Sunday evening and she was given a prescription for Tamiflu because we have four risk factors in our house, two people with asthma (including me) and two children under five years old.

The Wrench

We didn’t get the result to her flu test until Wednesday.  So we didn’t go to California. I am so grateful we didn’t because all of my kids ended up sick (not all got the flu) and I ended up with pneumonia!  I would rather be sick at home then sick on vacation! So this week should be good for my business right?!  Yes and no.

I was able to stay home in my room away from everyone and work but I didn’t work on my goals.  I did start out working on them.  I was looking for ways to get traffic to my new affiliate site.  While in my search I remembered a post I read a few weeks ago. This  made me go back over the post very closely.  In this post she mentioned the info product killer and how last year she created a mini-site based on a product and added a Christmas guide to a site she already had. For her 5 hours of work she made almost $1000 over the year! I thought I could do this and link it to my new affiliate site! So I ended up buying it this week.  It is $97 and worth every penny!  It taught me how to get mini-sites set up for products in 2 hours!

Info product killer

It has dozens of videos describing exactly how to do this.  This has been perfect for me because I have a Blog up that will get people hooked and instead of doing a product page for each product on that blog I am doing a website for those products.  Now another thing I did was purchase Xsitepro 2. This was on the recommendation of my friend Angie Newton.  You can see her Xsitepro  review here!  It is such a simple way to design websites.  I am about to publish my first mini-site that I created through Xsitepro.

So despite the hiccups of this week I have accomplished quite a lot, just not what was on my goal list!

The goals for this coming week:

Since I am battling with pneumonia and dealing with breathing treatments every 2-4 hours, I am going to keep my goals very short and sweet! This will give me more incentive come back next week for personal accountability next week!

  • My goal is to create 3 mini-sites for my new affiliate site.
  • Post 4-5 on Danielle’s Journey.
  • Post twice on my new affiliate site.

I am not sure I will be able to do more than that!

What are your goals for this week?  Let me know in the comment section! Personal accountability will make your business stronger.

Yours,

P.S. Have you checked out Info Product Killer yet? What are you waiting for?
