We enjoyed our Indpendence Day today. We got up early and went and saw a bunch of hot air balloons take off.  It was so fun!  I took pictures on my phone but can figure out how to download them.  When I do I will post them.  After we saw the balloons we went to Home Depot to a kids workshop!  That was fun.  The rest of the day we stayed at home.  I can’t tell you how grateful I am for my freedom.  A freedom to create whatever I want of my life!  My sister sent me a poem today that talked about the fact that freedom is not free!  I totally agree.  So many people sacrificed home,family and even their own life for us to have freedom.  Do you think about that?  I don’t think about it often enough!

I am grateful to have a holiday like this to remember those that had a hand in creating this great country that I call home! First I am grateful for my Mother who choose to come to this country from England at the age of 21.  I am also grateful for my Father who served 20 years in the Air Force serving this country.  I can’t forget my ancestors who fought in the Revolutionary war for the right to worship how they pleased!  I grateful for the freedom I have been blessed with!
