Phew,What a Week!

The internship has been great!  Ideas have come more easily then I had imagined they would.  I have learned so much already and gained  a lot of confidence.  I am grateful for Kelly’s help and giving me free rein over Mom Giveaways. Now I just need to let go of some of my perfectionism!

Trials of the week.

We had some health issues in our house.  My 2 year old daughter got sick. The baby had his 6 month shots and had a bad reaction.  He is the first out of all of my children that have ever had a reaction to vaccines.  He was very sensitive at the site of the shot and he developed a fever of 101.8F.  This child never cries.  So when he cried for over an hour I didn’t know what to do.  He finally settled down and slept for a while.  He started feeling better after his early morning feeding and then throwing up all over him and I!  Last night I started feeling terrible again!  I finished a round of antibiotics for some congestion in my lungs on Monday.  Now Friday I am coughing and I am back to having breathing treatments!

WordPress to the rescue!

Well not exactly!  Since I am learning WordPress with the internship I decided to take the plunge and change the blog to WordPress.  I thought this would be an afternoon type job.  Not so!!  It has turned into three days and still not done!  I had to manually move my blog posts because blogger was not letting WordPress import my posts.  All my early posts are on May 7th!  I searched and searched for a WordPress that I liked and finally I bought a blog from Mom Webs.  I couldn’t find anything free that I really liked! So the look of the blog will be changing once again!  I am hoping that I can get everything set up and settled in the next few days!
