I'm sick - February 2, 08It is time for my Personal Accountability for the week! As your recall from last week, I was going to be on vacation all of this week.  Well that all changed when my daughter woke up on Sunday morning with a killer headache.  Our family was planning on leaving on Sunday after church.  Well by the time it came to leave I was convinced she had the swine flu.  I took her to the doctor on Sunday evening and she was given a prescription for Tamiflu because we have four risk factors in our house, two people with asthma (including me) and two children under five years old.

We didn’t get the result to her flu test until Wednesday.  So we didn’t go to California. I am so grateful we didn’t because all of my kids ended up sick (not all got the flu) and I ended up with pneumonia!  I would rather be sick at home then sick on vacation! So this week should be good for my business right?!  Yes and no.

I was able to stay home in my room away from everyone and work but I didn’t work on my goals.  I did start out working on them.  I was looking for ways to get traffic to my new affiliate site.  While in my search I remembered a post I read a few weeks ago. This  made me go back over the post very closely.  In this post she mentioned the info product killer and how last year she created a mini-site based on a product and added a Christmas guide to a site she already had. For her 5 hours of work she made almost $1000 over the year! I thought I could do this and link it to my new affiliate site! So I ended up buying it this week.  It is $97 and worth every penny!  It taught me how to get mini-sites set up for products in 2 hours!

Info product killer

It has dozens of videos describing exactly how to do this.  This has been perfect for me because I have a Blog up that will get people hooked and instead of doing a product page for each product on that blog I am doing a website for those products.  Now another thing I did was purchase Xsitepro 2. This was on the recommendation of my friend Angie Newton.  You can see her Xsitepro  review here!  It is such a simple way to design websites.  I am about to publish my first mini-site that I created through Xsitepro.

So despite the hiccups of this week I have accomplished quite a lot, just not what was on my goal list!

The goals for this coming week:

Since I am battling with pneumonia and dealing with breathing treatments every 2-4 hours, I am going to keep my goals very short and sweet! This will give me more incentive come back next week for personal accountability next week!

  • My goal is to create 3 mini-sites for my new affiliate site.
  • Post 4-5 on Danielle’s Journey.
  • Post twice on my new affiliate site.

I am not sure I will be able to do more than that!

What are your goals for this week?  Let me know in the comment section! Personal accountability will make your business stronger.

Yours,

P.S. Have you checked out Info Product Killer yet? What are you waiting for?

  • You already know I am so sorry to hear about all the sickies. I send positive healing vibes your way for the entire family.

Thanks for sharing the link to my review. I sure hope you like the web design software. It really is great and there is so much more that I have to learn about it and I have had it for quite a few years now.

Not exactly sure about my goals for the week but I know I need to work on my Friday tip, research a few category titles for my weight loss/fitness blog and also work on 1 or 2 pages on one of my other websites. I already got up the post today for my headphone review and giveaway so that was good.

Hope you have a great week!
