Another week has gone by and it is time for Personal Accountability!

This week I feel really great about my progress! I stayed focused and accomplished a lot.  I did a lot of behind the scenes stuff with my new affiliate site.  I now have about ten posts in draft.  I also have ten posts that I outsourced.   I believe I am going to use a few of those outsourced posts for ezinearticles.com.  I am not having a lot of traffic to the new affiliate site which I need to work on.  Angie my accountability partner reminded me that I need to find blog posts in that niche, that are ranked highly and comment on them. This will help to attract the search engines.  So this morning I have been working on that!

Here is the breakdown of my goals from last week:

Article Marketing

• Catch up and keep up with 100 articles 100 days – This I did a terrible job on! I am officially nine articles behind again.  I have 62 done and should have 71 (as of today).
• Write two articles for new articles for my new niche affiliate site. – No I didn’t do this but this is on the top of my list for next week.

Danielle’s Journey

• Post daily
• write two auto responder messages – I actually got three messages done and the opt-in box up.  I blogged about it Yesterday.

First Affiliate Site

• Write the first newsletter edition – Nope didn’t get this done!
• Write two posts – I didn’t do this either.

New Affiliate Site

• Finish posting product pages – I put up 12 product pages but I probably have about fifty more.  A work in progress!
• Post four articles/blog posts
• Set up auto responder – I have set it up but as I was finishing Aweber when down for maintenance.  So I just have to finish it up.

Recap on last weeks goals

I guess I only got half of what I planned done but I really feel like I am getting the hang of this and really enjoying it.  I am developing habits that will make me very successful in the future and I am excited about it.  The big thing this week is I am realizing that I have to prioritize my time!  This can be really hard when you have four kids and other responsibilities!  This week I am going to find a way to get traffic to my sites.  Not only do I need to find a way but I need to automate it!

Dilemma

I am going away next week on vacation with my family! I am excited but I have so much work to do.  My in-laws have the internet but not a router so I am not
sure how much I will be able to get  done.  The last three days of the week we will be camping so I will definitely not be working then.  So I plan on taking some seo (search engine optimization) books and go from there!

Goals for this week:

Article Marketing:

• I will do at least five articles for 100 Articles 100 Days. I can do these offline!
• I will submit two niche affiliate articles to ezinearticles.

Danielle’s Journey:

• Post at least four times next week.

New affiliate website.

• Prepare more drafts (at least three). I can also do this offline.
• Post four times next week.
• Get ten plus product pages done.

Business in General:

• Find a way to automate traffic even if I have to pay for it!
