Today’s MUSING MONDAYS post is about library borrowing…
Do you restrict yourself on how many books you take out from the library at a time? Do you borrow books if you already have some out? Do you always re-borrow books you don’t get to?
Okay I have a love for books and sometimes I just can not resist checking out all the books I want at one time. I do try (keyword is try) to restrict myself on how many book I check out but I often fail! I do borrow more books if I already have some check out and inevitably I do not read them! I do sometime renew the books I do not get a chance to read but I don’t like a lot of clutter in my house and so I often end up taking them back. I take them back with the intent on getting to them later but I often forget to check them out again! Did I mention I love the library!!

I tend to buy more than take from the library. Mainly it’s because I can’t finish them by the deadline.

We get a lot of easy readers for the BG to read and picture books for all the boys. We love books far too much to be able to afford what we want so going the library helps us….a lot.
Try to take out only what I can keep track of. I rarely take out books for myself. I do order ones and inter library loans are great for that. Now DH and I have library cards- that can be very tricky. He gets for kids and so do I. We try not to do that or stick to a genre. We reborrow books we love and don’t keep track of the ones we didn’t get to.

I love the library too! If I lived closer I’d go a lot more often, but as it is I only go once a month. I’m planning on going more this summer and doing some browsing. Usually, I’m in and out.

The library is not on my way anymore since my branch closed for renovation. I don’t want to lug around unread, untouched books with me. I try to limit to 3 books at a time.

I only use the library for DVDs and audio books, but otherwise, I’d probably check out everything I wanted. LOL
