My miracle for today is my ancestors.  I love genealogy and in my research from the past I found that I came from Scottish royalty.  Now this family eventually left Scotland because of religious persecution.  They ended up moving to South Carolina.  Where on their land was the battle of Fishing Creek in the Revolutionary war.  They fought and the women took care of the wounded.

I think it is fitting that on Memorial day I think of them.  They are why I am who I am!  They were strong enough to leave their homeland for the beliefs they had.  God was more important to them then pomp and circumstance!  Then they come to this country and have to fight again for their freedom.  I am so grateful for my heritage.  I grateful for my ancestors.  They are a miracle in my life!  In just a little while as a family we will be going to visit some of the graves of our ancestors to say thank you!
