I started this blog for a few reasons. One reason was to share my journey as I learn and become successful with an online business.  The other reason is to make money working from home.  Let’s get real!  There are many people that write a blog that want to make money.  Yeah we want to share what we know with others but money and success can be a big factor as to whether you stick with it or not.  You may not agree but that is alright!

I have decided to take a few weeks and share with you some quicker was to make money working from home!  Today’s post is covering some of the first ideas.  Before we get started you need to know I have been successful in making money from home for several years but the things I have done in the past didn’t fit the lifestyle I want to live.

Money is not everything!

Did I really just say that?  Yes, it is true!  You want a certain kind of life when you work from home, not just money! You want to open your Paypal account and see a lot of money but only after playing with your kids or going to the movies in the middle of the day with a friend!  The things I will share with you are not going to be long term necessarily.  They will be “I need to pay the light bill” money or “I need gas for my car” money.  So while you are building a substantial business working from home.

So lets get started on how to make money working from home!!

1. Have a fire sale.

If you are like most people that have started a business online, you have some private label rights, resell rights, master resell rights or other content that you own the rights to taking up space on your hard drive.

Now is the time to have a fire sale.  Sell it like it is on fire!! Put all the content together. Sell it for a great price, a price that people can’t pass up. Run the sale for only a week (you will make
most of your money the first week)!  Advertise on Niche forums, through affiliates (if you have an affiliate program), joint venture partners, http://www.Craigslist.org or elsewhere!

2. Sell Something on eBay

If you need to earn money quickly sell something on eBay!  This can be one of the easiest ways to earn money online. Most people have “stuff they are not using around the house. These items include clothes, books, CDs, DVDs, toys, games, electronics, exercise equipment, antiques and so on.

I have had an eBay business two different times.  I bought and sold designer clothes on eBay this was my very first business I did from home, back in 2003-2004.  Then recently my husband and I ran a coupon clipping service on eBay.  We even became Power Sellers! It can be done!

So look around your house and see what you could really live without.  Also look for things you don’t have a need for any longer, then sell them on eBay!!

If you want more details on how to sell on ebay then check out: The eBay Success Plan.

3. Sell Your Stuff on Craigslist

In tip #2, I mentioned that you could sell your stuff on eBay, including clothes, books, exercise equipment and more. Only problem is, eBay charges listing fees. These fees add up and cut into your profit! If you want to sell your items fast and free, then check out CraigsList… especially if you’re trying to sell big items that can’t be shipped easily.

And if you’re not selling large items?

Then feel free to post your ads in more populous regions like New York, Chicago, and California, which gives you a better chance of turning your trash into cash.  This is very simple and quick!  Craigslist is very popular. Whatever you do be safe!  Use common sense when it comes to your home, family and even yourself!

That is all for today.  Watch for part 2 of my make money working from home series next week!

PS. Do you have any ideas to earn money quickly?
