This week I thought I would participate in Tackle it Tuesday.  Our local grocery stores are having case lots sales.  They have them here in Utah at least every six months or so.  Last year we stocked up pretty well but we actually ran out before the year was up.  So this time around we are trying just for six months worth of food.   Here is a picture of what we purchased! This is actually not all of it we have to purchase more today!  As you can see I need to organize our shelves!

Happy Tuesday,

P.S. Mom’s Talk ebooks has a special guide on  Freezer Cooking.  This fits right into being prepared for your family!

Have you ever heard of vlogging?  I had not until I was participating in the Mom’s Talk Network intern.  One of the other interns was Jendi.  She has since started this great new website called Simple Vlogging Tips.  Today I wanted to share one of her videos with you:

Jendi is such a great mom.  She instrumental in me getting this blog on word press. I would definitely listen to Jendi!  She is one smart cookie.  One of these days I will surprise you and do a vlog of my own.  You can be sure that it will be after I review Jendi’s Simple Vlogging Tips!

Happy Monday,

Dia 56: Una larga semana

Look at a day when you are supremely satisfied at the end. It’s not a day when you lounge around doing nothing; its when you had everything to do, and you’ve done it.

DimentionWouldn’t you agree?  My life has been busy this week.  I have been working on my several projects that I mentioned in my focused business post. Last week I mentioned that I would not be continuing Link Love Deals for Saturdays.  I really love deals but this blog is for my journey working from home!  So what I am going to do, is every Saturday I am going to be accountable to you! I will be sharing what I have done in my business and I will be letting you know what I will be doing next week.

Accountability!

This is going to help me stay focused and it is also going to help me share my journey with you!  I am actually pretty excited about this. I have always been better at committing when I know that I have to be accountable to someone!  Because of this I am thinking about starting a weight loss  blog for my journey.  I would love to hear what you think about that!  Okay back to Saturday’s,  I will also share products that I use and recommend so that you can check them out.  I know when I got started in April I would have loved to have someone show me what they use and how it has helped.

So Here is what I did this week:

I have to admit I didn’t get even half of the things done I wanted to this week.  I have not been as focused as I was last week. This week I worked on my articles for Jeff Herring’s 100 Articles 100 Days.  As of today I am ten behind. Today I should be exactly half-way at fifty! I haven’t written anything today so far.  I plan on writing at least four for the day.  Now the big thing that I have learned and am still learning is about submitting these articles to ezinearticles.com. I purchased a the NAMS4U thumb drive last month and I have been listening to Jeff Herring’s presentation.  This has taught me a lot about the submitting articles.  Right now I am working on my resource box in ezine articles.

I have posted at least once on my affiliate site. Just so you know I will not be sharing my website link here for my site because I am using a pen name for it.  I want to keep my affiliate sites seperate from this blog and my real name.  I have made a little headway on this site.  I presented it to the SSWT elite brainstorming hour on Thursday.  Everyone really think it looks good but I definitely have some tweeking to do.  The great thing is I got my first person to subscribe to my newsletter.

One other thing I did was an order from my hand printing business.  My friend Debbie from The Queen Mommy asked this last week:

debbie comment

I appreciate this comment.  I have had my Forever Johnson Handprinting business since February. As you know I love sweepstakes.  When you are entering mail-in sweepstakes you will typically have to fill out a 3×5 card with your name, address, zip code, phone number and possibly birthday or email addresses.  In my hand printing business I fill these cards out for you for a fee.  I don’t make a large amount of money with this business but it pays for my other business ventures.  It has paid for my hosting with Hostgator, my Aweber account, purchasing domain names and my membership accounts, such as Affiliatenaire and my Elite Membership!

My Family Johnson Hand Printing blog will be updated in the next few weeks.  I am moving it over from  Blogger to Word press. So it will be looking really good!  So if you want to keep an eye on it, you will see some big difference.

What is going on Next week?

Here are my goals for next week.

Article Marketing:

  • Get caught up on 100 Articles 100 Days.
  • Complete resource box.
  • Submit three articles to ezine articles.

Current Affiliate Site:

  • Send out my first edition of my affliate newsletter.
  • Post three times.
  • Set up opt-in page for my newsletter.

Danielle’s Journey:

  • Post daily here.
  • Write 4 more autoresponder messages.
  • Write a Danielle’s Journey Recommendation page.

FJ Handprinting:

  • Write three more autoresponder messages.
  • Write 3 Supply pages.  This will refer people to products that our useful.

I have my work cut out for me this coming week.  I am hoping I can complete all of these things.  If I get everything done, I will be moving ahead in the direction I want in my business. I would love to you to comment on what your plans are for this coming week.  Let’s keep each other accountable!  I am so excited to get started and make this work!!  I will report on this next week, so come back and see what I have accomplished!

Until Next Week,
