My Tackle it Tuesday this week is going to be a little bit different.  We will be traveling to California in about two weeks for our family reunion and right before this I will be done with my internship with Mom’s Talk Network on Mom Giveaways.  So the next two weeks I will be so busy and then I will be away for a week and a half.

The other day I was noticing how neglected my house has become.  So what my tackle for this Tuesday is: I am beginning a list of summer cleaning that we will be doing when we come back.  I have informed the whole family that we will be cleaning for a few days straight to get everything done! The children know that on those days they will not be playing with there friends all day long. Read more »

I have been absent from the blog for a few days and that is not like me.  I don’t have much of an excuse either.  Okay maybe I do.  I got a bit ahead on my intern blog, Mom Giveaways. That was so nice since I have felt like I was behind for the past few weeks.  I gave plasma on Friday! I am sure that I have mentioned this before but for extra money to get my business started I am donating plasma.  It has been a great blessing because my husbands hours have been cut a bit at work and this extra money has gone to buy some groceries as well!

Coupon systemOn Saturday, I went to my sweepstakes club meeting. That was so much fun!  I won a big stack of envelopes.  I am so inspired by these woman! I had a sick daughter.  My 2-1/2 year old had a barking cough on Saturday night.  She was fine when she went to bed but at 11pm she woke up barking like a seal. She ended up sleeping with me (my husband works at night) and she kept me up with her breathing, snoring and coughing!  This weekend I was also able to get all my coupons clipped and put away on the left is a picture of my current organizing system.  I learned this system from Money Saving Mom.  This system with be changing very shortly.

Save more money on my budget!

Yesterday in my paper there was an article on the Savvy Shopper.  She is great at matching coupons and sales.  She had a great binder system for coupons.  I used to have a binder that I used for my coupons but when I started selling on ebay I let that go.  So yesterday I pulled out my binder and I intend to fill it up this week with  all my coupons! I am really impressed with how the Savvy Shopper Deals work.  I believe I am going to start following her ways.  I have been really good with coupons for a long time but she shared some tips that I have not used yet! Whitecraft Sofa and Dash and Albert Rug in Pawleys IslandWouldn’t you love sitting on your back porch and enjoy watching your kids play in the backyard, while you make money?  Yeah, me too! I remember when I had my coupon clipping service on ebay and I didn’t have much time to watch my kids play.  I only had time to for coupon clipping, shipping and listing on ebay. During these hours  I dreamed of having an ebook business that I could automate.  I collected a bunch of ebooks to sell.  I bought them with full resell rights.  I was so excited to get started!  I even wrote an ebook about how to run a coupon clipping service on ebay (that disappeared with my crashed hard drive). I was literally about to list my ebook and ebay changed their policies.  This was about a year and a half ago.  They decided to not allow sellers to auction off digital products!  With much disappointment I left it alone. I was moving and I was pregnant.  I didn’t have the energy at that moment to burn Cd’s or come up with another way to automate my business! Read more »

Okay her goes for my explaination of Wordless Wednesday: Ian and The Rug! Ian is my baby boy.  He will be eight months old in a few days.  He is not yet crawling but scoots himself very well.  He is a great eater and loves to chew on everything and anything he can get his hands on.  Last week my husband and I were busy doing other things and Ian was on the floor.  He was near the edge of the rug and next thing we know he is lifting up the rug so he could chew on it.  It was the funniest thing to watch.  We snapped a few pictures of it before we were good parents and moved him away from the edge of the rug!  So next week we may have pictures of him gnawing on the leather recliner!!  Thanks for coming to see my explaination!  Check out other Tell Me Thursdays and while you are there participate!
